I myself come from a family business background and have experienced first-hand the impact that money has on our emotional and mental wellbeing and the quality of our relationships. Working through my own challenges gives me both a personal and professional understanding of the challenges faced by my clients.
With more than eighteen years of experience of helping individuals, couples, and families resolve challenges created by their financial status, as well as understand their relationship with their wealth, I can safely say that I am internationally recognized as a leader in the field of wealth psychology & personal development.
My Philosophy and Approach
My work focuses on finding creative and relevant solutions to the non-financial challenges of wealth. I do so by facilitating, advising, educating and coaching clients to develop a deeper understanding of their respective mind-sets and the impact that emotional intelligence has on matters relating to wealth, relationships, parenting, family history, planning and succession.
Emotional intelligence (EQ) has a direct impact on performance in every aspect of our lives. Just as our IQ determines our capacity to learn, EQ determines the qaulity of our financial success: how we feel about money, how we handle it and what we do with it
“I have shared with you in one meeting things about me, more than I have shared with my wife in 50 years of marriage”

More so, relationships can be stressed or hurt when financial affairs are perceived by one side or another as unfair. When this happens, communication can break down and resentment builds. This deeply effects a family’s ability to move forward and for its members to fulfil their potential. A breakdown in relationships can often lead to children becoming complacent and demotivated and/or marital problems triggered by jealousy, perceived unfairness, despair or depression.
My clients have referred to me as a “Heart and Mind Alchemist” because they have observed my skill at perceiving what lies below the surface. I see my clients’ greatness and empower them to create positive, long-term change. Unlocking inner dynamics help clients break through limitations and overcome obstacles that stand in the way of accomplishing their goals.
In my work, at times I act as a facilitator, other times as a coach, mentor or a therpist. At times I may be called to help family dynamics and improve the relationships between family members, couples or siblings ; help unlock relationship with money and understant the meaning and the impact it has. Other times it may be helping families in business or family offices with matters related to communication, trusts & trustees, family constitution, and more.
No two people and no two families are the same. As such, there can be no blueprint for my work. The needs of every client are unique. For this reason, all of my work is tailored to the specific needs of individual clients.
As well as the abundance of practical experience that I bring to my work, I hold:
- A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
- An MSc in Industrial Psychology
