Executive MBA: The Psychology of Money & Wealth
Dr. Lami is a sought-after teacher on the Psychology of Affluenza, Money and Wealth and was invited to develop and teach a course in the Executive MBA Program in Asset and Wealth Management at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
This innovative, internationally focused dual-degree program was designed for professionals working in the area of asset and wealth management, such as investment managers and private banking relationship managers. It was offered in conjunction with HEC Lausanne, the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne, and the Swiss Finance Institute.
After developing the Executive MBA course, Dr. Lami has continued to teach independently and currently offers two Continuing Education (CE credits) courses on the subject. The courses are designed to equip private bankers, financial advisors, CPA’s, attorneys and other asset and wealth management professionals with an improved knowledge of the emotional, non-financial aspects – or the “soft issues” – surrounding wealth management so they can better understand and serve their clients.
As a result, participants will be able to better understand their clients and support them with the emotional, non-financial complexities related to money and finances. For example, participants will be able to help their clients better understand the concept of our relationship with money and how feelings and beliefs about it affect behavior and financial decisions.
If you are interested in having Dr. Lami teach about these subjects at your organization, event, retreat, school or university please call +1.310.626.0218 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Praise from Participants: Executive MBA Course
“Dr. Lami is an excellent teacher. Her breath of knowledge about the subject is truly impressive. Her teaching style is engaging and interactive.”
“I enjoyed this course immensely. It was very interesting and relevant to my job. I think the subject of wealth psychology is being underestimated in our job.”
”I found it very informative and interesting, especially the second part with techniques. It was a great and valuable opportunity to participate in this course.”
“Dr. Lami did a great job teaching this course. I really enjoyed the material. However, I think the subject of wealth psychology is being underestimated in this MBA program, as the time dedicated to this topic is only 8 hours in total. I would have liked to spend another day on this topic and ‘sacrifice’ a day of finance.”
“I learned a lot in this course. It will be very useful and applicable in my job. I wish we had an additional day.”
“This is a very important topic for client relationship managers. I’m glad I got to take this course.”
